How to do it
Sit upright with your legs straight and slightly apart, positioned slightly wider than your hips. If it is challenging to sit in this position, you can place a pillow under your buttocks to help you achieve the correct posture. Extend your arms out to the sides, ensuring that your shoulders are pulled down. Keep your hands slightly forward, which will assist in maintaining a straight spine. Inhale as you reach towards your foot, and exhale as you reach towards your little toes. Then inhale and return to an upright seated position, maintaining good posture. Repeat the exercise with the other leg, alternating hands. To make the exercise easier, you can slightly bend your knees and avoid overstretching forward.
