How to do it
Sit up straight with your legs extended and slightly wider than your hips. If sitting in this position is challenging, you can place a pillow under your buttocks to help maintain the correct posture. Place your hands in front of you. Start by taking a deep breath in, then exhale and bend forward, extending your body as far as possible. Contract your buttocks while doing so. Inhale, then exhale and engage your core as you return to the sitting position. To modify the exercise, slightly bend your knees and reach forward.
