How to do it
This exercise requires a step, but you can also use a stool or another stable platform. Begin by standing on the platform with one leg, ensuring that your knee is at a right angle. Then, perform a step-up by hopping up with the leg on the platform and simultaneously switching legs in mid-air. This exercise mimics the motion of climbing stairs. Alternatively, you can perform this exercise by placing each foot on alternate steps while ascending a regular set of stairs, ensuring that you never place both feet on the same step.
