How to do it
Stand with your legs spread wider than shoulder-width apart. Rotate your feet outward. Hold a weight, such as a kettlebell, dumbbell, bag, or water bottle, with both hands for added resistance. Start the movement by pushing your hips back, initiating a hip hinge. Your torso should descend directly vertical, while maintaining a flat back without rounding. Ensure that your knees do not collapse inward. At the lowest point of the squat, your hips should be slightly below your knees. Return to the starting position by reversing the movement and pushing through your legs to stand upright.
