How to do it
- To increase the intensity of the exercise:
- Starting position: Assume a push-up position with your feet and one hand on the floor, while the other hand rests behind your back. Position your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, with the majority of your body weight on the supporting hand.
- How to perform: Inhale as you bend your arm at the elbow, lowering your body towards the floor. Exhale as you return to the starting position. Repeat the exercise while alternating the placement of your hands.
- If you experience discomfort in your wrist joints after performing push-ups, I recommend focusing on strengthening the muscles in that area. Exercises using resistance bands or rubber expanders can be helpful, as well as performing wrist rotations and wrist flexion exercises with light loads.
